One of our favorite shows is “American Pickers” on the History Channel. This episode recently aired and the Pickers go searching for Civil War items for a museum in Gettysburg PA. On line the show is about 50 min with limited advertisement interruption.
The Civil War Day by Day - University of North Carolina
Drawing on the vast holdings of the Louis Round Wilson Special Collections Library, UNC will will present samples of the Civil War’s documentary remains. The concept of Civil War Day by Day is a simple one: every day for the next four years, the University will present a document that is 150 years old to the day on a website dedicated to the project.
